About the Position

Technical Officer - Parks Planning Gold Coast About The Role As a Technical Officer - Parks Planning your position is to develop and implement strategic and forward plans and policies to ensure the region's Parks and Open Spaces, Natural Areas and Sport and Recreation Facilities promote and support safe, active and healthy community life. The role also supports an facilitates outcomes for open space design, master plans and development. The successful candidate will undertake Project Management tasks including: project inception activities & reports, review of conceptual & detailed design work, coordination and time management of resources/contractors, strategic procurement tasks, development & implementation of WHS plans, budget management, quality management of project outcomes, finalisation and close out activities. Location: Bundaberg Employment Status: Permanent Full-Time Remuneration: $72,449 Level: 4 We are looking for someone who: Has Tertiary qualifications relevant to the position ( Parks Management, Land Management, Urban Design, Urban and Regional Planning) and/or substantial experience relevant to the position Demonstrated experience in strategic planning for parks, sport, recreation and open spaces Demonstrated project management capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects with tight time frames Demonstrated ability The original job offer can be found in Kit Job:
